Probate Assistant Job Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Probate Assistant to join our busy established Private Client Department. Successful candidates should ideally have experience of working in a probate department however full training will be given. The role will be to assist the fee earners within the department with all aspects of file administration, dealing with clients and third parties as well as preparing and dealing with quotes and new business enquiries.

This is a full time position in our Coleshill office however there will be a requirement to cover all offices on a flexible basis.

Public Law Solicitor/ FCILEX Job Opportunity

Evans Derry Solicitors are seeking a Public Law Solicitor/ FCILEX/ Legal Executive with experience to join a well-established team based in Marston Green, Coleshill and Atherstone, to specialise in Care Proceedings. The successful candidate will be working with a well-known and respected Family law team.

The role is a full time, permanent position.

Role responsibilities:

The successful Public Law Solicitor/ FCILEX/ Legal Executive will be tasked with progressing a caseload of publicly funded family law matters, with particular focus on Care Proceedings, along with pre proceeding matters such as PLO and child protection. The role will involve managing your own caseload, supporting your clients and undertaking your own advocacy where possible.

Person specification:

Applications are welcomed from all Public Law Solicitor/ FCILEX/ Legal Executives including those who have senior roles who have experience within care-proceedings. You must have excellent working knowledge of Legal Aid and CCMS system, and a willingness to develop your advocacy skills if you have not already done so. Experience in publicly funded Family law is essential, ideally specialising in care proceeding.
